Go by the part number.
This product part number is also for the water inlet hose on the transom. Perfect for my mercruiser 888.

Use in swamp cooler pan.
I sprayed this product over POR-15 in the pan of my swamp cooler. After a week, so far so good. The proof will be in 2 or 3 years. Easy to apply. I used 2 cans on my cooler.
