Great kit
This is a brilliant kit for needle felting beginners. The colours are vibrant and there's plenty of each for lots of projects. There are also different types of needless to get each project started quicker and then finished to a high standard. The wooden holder is a boon too as it reduces the pressure on your hand.
If your just starting out thinking of starting needle felting this is a great kit for essentials.

Good starter
2 of 2 found this helpful I have just begun to look into carving wood and needed a cheap knife to see if I have any aptitude.
The knife is of a simple design with good quality wood and metal which have been built well.
I have used it to good effect and it does quite well. It doesn't glide through the wood at depth (although that might be my lack of strength) but at shallower depths it's very effective. There have been several times I have been overly ambitious and cut too deeply but each time the blade has come out of the carving easily and without bending the blade.
The knife sits comfortably in the hand and you can apply pressure along any part of the handle which is handy for fiddly bits.
Although the blade could possibly be sharper (I'll try sharpening it soon) for the price you really can't go far wrong with this. I did try other cheap tools before this but they were completely blunt and bent as soon as I applied pressure. This is sturdy and a great little knife to get started.
