decent machine but outdated
These machines by Dell are very capable but have become outdated. For some unknown reason Dell offers an upgrade to Windows Mobile 5 for the Axim x50v but not the x50. The only difference between the x50 and the x50v is that the latter has a VGA resolution display. This shouldn't matter though because there are devices out there with the lower resolution QVGA displays that have Mobile 5. And in this day, if you want to find software on the Net, you need to have Mobile 5. Otherwise you are going to spend hours sifting through cool and useful apps only to find out that each one requires Mobile 5 as a minimum. So as I said this is a good device that has become outdated.

Moto actions are the real deal
Pros: Shatterproof screen, Moto mods, Moto actions, NFC, Quickcharge, Daydream VR compatibility. The ability to turn on the LED flashlight by shaking the phone twice is invaluable! Only slightly less so the twisting motion to turn on the camera.
Cons: NO HEADPHONE JACK, AAAAARRRGGGGH, heavy, Moto Mods. yeah I know I put that one on both sides. They might be really cool. I don't know, all, ALL of them are overpriced by at least half, waiting for clearance sales 75% off.
