Best with IEM
Bought this as a portable, cheap alternative to my Dragonfly Red and Chord Mojo. I use it with budget IEMs (KZ Z10 Pro, Tin T2) with Audio Player Pro streaming Tidal. For the total cost of the set up being under £200, I think the sound is very good indeed. The Fiio will also play DSD natively which is an added bonus.

Vintage tech sounds great
I bought this to use as a transport, reading that the CDM mech is a sturdily built thing. Currently this then goes via its digital out into a DacMagic 100 and then into a Little Dot tube amp. The CD player is then just doing the spinning of the CD. Sounds great and well worth it for a cheap audiophile(ish) solution.
