Lights easily
This does not have that thumb safety which is ridiculously difficult to operate. This unit has a double trigger so that you have to pull on the 2-step trigger to light. Much easier. Plus it's refillable. A great buy.

Otterbox Defender Clip holster
I had one that lasted for almost 5 years when the clip part broke. When you put in your Apple phone, it clicks into place. To remove it, you have to push up on the clip. Well, after numerous removals, that clip broke off.
While overall it is a good holster, at times the seat belt in my car knocks it off my belt [a spring loaded clip keeps it in place, unless overpowered by the seat belt]. Also, at times, unless you positively lock the phone in place, and the clip does not engage, the phone does fall off.
I put the phone in face first to protect the screen. However, the rear facing camera is exposed to the elements.
Overall I like the holster and the defender which is why I gave it 4 stars. The enumerated exceptions in the previous paragraphs are not a major nuisance.

Durable but difficult to remove
I have had this protector on my Nikon D5300 for several months. When I initially put it on, a giant bubble appeared which I could not remove or push aside. So I lived with it for several months since it really did not block the view using the monitor. However, in certain lighting situations, it started becoming a nuisance. In addition, because of the thickness of the glass, the swivel monitor no longer shut completely in the closed position. So I decided to take the protector off and try another product.
The directions state that one should use a hairdryer to heat and soften the Plexiglas, which I did. After heating I lifted a corner and removed the glass but much of the tape holding the glass in place remained on the monitor. So, I removed the tape but now some of the adhesive remains on the corners of the monitor. This I am removing using a small rubber squeegee and/or my finger nails. Not an easy task. So yes, it is a good protective product when applied well, but it is not easy to remove.
