Not too bad...
No leaks but the fuel shut-off was a little flimsy. Had to be tightened down and reinstalled. Shut-off "feel" wasn't solid, hard to tell when you've actually shut the fuel off. Once you figure it out it's not bad, however. No leaks and looks perfectly original.

Decent replacement
Despite some others' negative experiences with these carbs mine arrived and I bolted it to my 9 hp Briggs engine and it ran quite well. Not a single leak, either. The metering jets were not screwed down too tightly, one was not tight at all, the other was screwed down until just closed, but no deformation of the brass needle was found. Set both at 1 1/2 turns out and the engine fired right up.
One note, the cam plate for the throttle connector (on back side of carb) was on backwards from my application needs. It's a simple matter to unscrew the throttle plate and slide out, then use a thin punch to push out the retaining clip of the throttle limiter cam and then the whole assembly slides out. Just install the throttle connector in the correct position and then push retaining clip back in the limiter cam and re-install throttle plate. Took less than 10 minutes.
Overall, a good value for the money I spent. Would definitely purchase another.
