1 of 1 found this helpful I just had to smell Shalimar again. I had a crush on an older boy in my neighborhood. I applied some Shalimar while visiting a girl friend one day. It belonged to her mom and I remember thinking that this stuff is complex! Barely into my teens, I wondered if it was too adult for me. Sure it was. A bit later I saw my boy crush and he identified Shalimar on me! How sophisticated he was.
Since reading that lighter versions had replaced original Shalimar, I was thrilled to find it on eBay. Promised to be a sealed bottle it was not. The thread tie with medallion had been cut. Not so good. In an original box, it smells unspoiled. If the bottle had been sealed, I would have awarded my choice five stars.
