Hey, Sisyphus - Is This Your Rock?
Not a bit of light reading. Not really an introduction to Existentialism, either . . . but, probably a necessary puzzle piece if Constant Reader is working on a worldview which cares to include that post-modern view of the. eternal "Why are we here?" question.
The specific edition I received was kind of interesting. The pages had that patina most often seen on the ceilings of ancient diners in business a decade or more before the vilification of Smoking indoors . . . yet, the pages were stiff, and difficult to even open enough to read. The previous Owner bought this, never opened it, let alone read it. The price tag on the back cover of the Book was under two dollars . . . Imagine That!

A review of Eirc who . . . ?
The Yardbirds, John Mayall's Bluesbreakers, Cream, Blind Faith, Derek and the Dominoes, solo guitar god revered by the blues giants he grew up in reverence of and trying to imitate . . . just who is this guy, Eric Clapton? As a human who was not around for most of Slowhand's long and lustrous career, this is as good an introduction as is to be found. There are a couple of tracks I would not miss if they were not included, as there are a couple of tracks I would have appreciated being included, but the Morning Music Test confirms my choice when it comes to this "Best of . . ." collection. Upon receiving this CD it was placed at the top of the music I turn on upon waking in the morning - and it stayed there for over two weeks. I can't remember the last time that happened. As a professional musician, a lover of all organized sound from that of Verdi to that of The Sex Pistols, and most importantly, a member of the musically curious, I can do nothing buy recommend this collection of much of Eric Clapton's best work.

Tune In to a Great Value
These tuners may be "economy priced", but they perform way above their monetary cost. These tuners were installed on an old Kay guitar . . . a Really Old Kay Guitar, one of the Star-ter series, to boot. They have had their work cut out for them, being the most consistant element of the mods and tweaks this guitar has had to go through to become a enjoyable knock-around-the-House guitar.
On a decades old "economy priced" guitar, with it's "economy priced" wood - as well as being housed in Washington State - a climate of extremes in humidity and temperature, these tunerTs are working like champs.
Highly Recommeded, for any project you have.
