Solid for digital and analog sources alike.
If you don't need 4k video through your pre/pro this is an awesome unit. I needed to be able to run my analog sources directly to the volume which you can do with this Rotel...skip dsp, which many receivers and even pre pros won't do. I don't really want to digitize my audiophile turntable's sound and I don't have room for a separate 2 channel system. So Rotel into some monoblock amps, with Rotel set to "bypass" on the analog input I use for the turntable does the trick. On top of that digital sources sound great too...I'm running a server to play hi-res music and let rotels processors do the d to a conversion...sounds pretty darn musical (almost analog anyway). If you can pick this up for $500ish I think it's a heck of a bargain.

Elegant and functional.
For the price (@50 with shipping) I don't think I could do much better. Beautiful puck to hold your record down. Appropriate weight and it has a textured rubber base to protect your labels and make it non-slip. Also the wooden box in which it arrived is really quite nice, although it doesn't affect performance of course. As for sound, does what it should. Holds down the record, especially helpful for lightly warped LPs, adds a bit of mass and seems to keep bass nice and tight. I am using this on my Music Hall MMF 2.2 with stock platter, ortofon om10 and modified motor decoupling (just some spacers to raise it a couple mm). Next upgrade will be the project speedbox and then acrylic platter. Really happy with this record weight so far.

Decent bike for the price.
1 of 1 found this helpful I got this bike as a customer return. It had obviously been opened and there were a few minor scratches, but overall this was a tremendous value. I was able to do 100% of the build and adjustments myself, but I have the tools and experience. If you don't, a LBS should be able to do final adjustments for a reasonable amount. This will make a nice commuter and family outing bike (so I don't have to use my higher end road bike for these things).
Overall I'm very happy with the bike, especially for the customer return price!
