It Is What It Is
This textbook was okay, but what I didn't know is how much biology that is involved in nutrition. Not as basic as I thought. Very hard for a person with no background in nutrition to understand.

Incredibly Cute!
These little sandals are cute and durable. They are very well made and have great non-slip soles. Much better than I anticipated for the price. They do run small so plan ahead when buying. My little granddaughter looks wonderful in them.

Pretty Good Phone!
7 of 7 found this helpful I decided to buy this phone when I realized that I'm doing more text messaging lately and I've been using the old 'tap each number three times' to get the letter that's needed. I've used a Razr since they first came out. I didn't want a smart phone (data plans, you know), but it had to have a qwerty keyboard and it had to have large numbers and good size buttons for this senior's eyes. The Motorola Rival fills the bill quite nicely.
I like the phone very much. The slider works smoothly and the keyboard is exactly what I want. I've owned the phone for about two months now and have had no problems as yet. It does have a sort of semi-touch screen. You have to bring up a virtual phone pad to make phone calls that are not in your contact list, and so far, the touch screen has worked without any hitches.
There are some cons, however. The touch screen aspect is very sensitive and I find myself having to remember to keep from touching certain parts of the phone. Also, the backlight on the qwerty keyboard is not very bright so it is hard to text in dim light. I have to be careful how I 'dial' numbers as well, although I don't use the virtual phone pad very often. These things are just minor concerns to me.
All in all, though, I really like this phone and would recommend it to others!
