Lasts forever
I still have the Actron I got for Christmas in 1972. It recently stopped working. I figure this new one should last just as long as my old one.

904/727 Transmission shift lever bushing/grommet
I have looked for this part for years. Glad I bought two. Both were required to do the job correctly. Rare, hard to find part which I will buy more of. If you have either of these transmissions, and they have never been replaced, you need these. Eliminates a lot of the column shift slop.
