Extreme Power and Heavy Duty
6 of 6 found this helpful An exceptional heavy duty machine with extreme power. It cuts heavy grass and weeds like a hot knife through butter. From string to cutting blades it is a very versatile piece of equipment. Runs and responds excellent, touch the trigger and it responds instantly. Easy to crank whether its hot or cold outside. HIGHLY recommend the Blue Max, especially if anyone needs a heavy duty, double tough Trimmer/Brush Cutter for daily commercial use. The ONLY drawback is the one shoulder sling, it is uncomfortable and the weight works on your neck and shoulder. For 17 bucks we remedied this with a padded double shoulder harness strap + carry hook. With this harness the machine feels almost weightless. The Blue Max is an exceptional value!

Extreme Power for Heavy Duty Jobs
A workhorse with exceptional power for heavy duty jobs from cutting big timber for cordwood to logging and it's weight makes it versatile enough for lightweight jobs such as limbing cutting stays, fence posts, etc... Handles extremely well in tight situations! Pops every time on the first pull, when choked, no matter the temperature outside and cranks every time by the third pull, usually the second. When it's warm, it cranks by the second pull every time. It's a tough machine built to last in harsh conditions and heavy duty use. I've ran about every model Stihl has made for the past 34 years and the 441 is by far the most impressive and comfortable in my hands. Only regret, "Not buying one sooner than I did"!
