Great tool, very useful

I use this tool every time I change bits. if you have the old lantern/rocker style tool post it can be near impossible to center the bit on the part being turned. before i bought this i had bits snagging and breaking off much too often. I now have two of these and use them every time. this little tool has saved me a lot of money on broken bits, and i can now achieve nearly a mirror finish on pieces just using this tool and a sharp bit. excellent

I never went back to the slide hammer

i bought one of these several years ago and immediately threw away my slide hammer. i use this professionally to restore cars. i love the fine control and gripping power this gives as well as the adjustability it provides for different situations and awkward angles. its stronger than i thought it would be and has allowed me to us significant force with no signs of a problem
