System board looked brand new/unopened. ...
System board looked brand new/unopened. Worked like a charm. Had to change the SN on the board to match the outer case, but that's with any system board replacement.
Replacing the system board isn't complicated, but it does require some patience. Luckily there are only 3 types of screws, 4 on the outside under the rubber feet, 4 for the heatsink assembly, and then the motherboard screws. The fan doesn't need to come out for the replacement.
