American classics
Cooper was an outstanding writer and this series makes it clear. If you have any interest in the pioneer days of this country, this is an excellent way to learn what it was like. Five books involving the same main character over different periods of his life. Well worth reading.

Great book about early American politics.
Very interesting story of the first contested elections in American history. Not unlike what we see today. All those interested in the early years of our country should read this book.

Very good story
Good story about Jackson and the War of 1812. Kilmeade writes in an easy-to-read style. Highly recommended.
