1 of 1 found this helpful After watching and reading most of the reviews online I finally purchased a used pair. I ran them thru my iPhone directly and the sound is acceptable. Then I ran it thru a Hifiman amp and I realized I need a better amp. The HD 800 preformed as described in the reviews off the amp and noticeably better than any other headphones I own. I will be getting a pair of Hifiman edition X soon and I’m curious to see which are better.
