does the job, sort of
1 of 1 found this helpful tldr: spend a little more money and get something more reliable.
this isn’t a great product for the cost. the cables are poor quality, and replacing them helped. it tends to overheat my macbook pro when the computer is providing the power. works better when the power cable goes to the monitor, and the monitor is connected to the computer. some flickering and connection resetting, particularly when moved while connected. bought a similar additional monitor with a touch screen for a little more money, and it’s working much better so far.
