Not Rare, maybe Asian, Quartz as in made from sand as is all glass coloured plastic coated clear marble

Not pink, not Mexican, Not Opal rather a mud coloured tinted clear marble with dioptic coloured plastic coating already wearing off, not 40 MM either, 41.3 MM on my digital calipers...
