Quality
Another excellent production from HZ - I'm back in the film every time I listen to it - which of course is what makes the difference between "just music for a film" and "the only music that could have been written for this film".

Nikon AF-S 17-35mm f2.8 ED-IF Lens
0 of 1 found this helpful I took my time and read a lot of articles on fast wide zooms before deciding on this lens. As a wedding/ commercial photographer, I needed a lens that would meet the needs and rigours of the job. So far, I have no complaints - it does exactly what it should and produces images of superb quality.
Is this lens for everyone?
Not necessarily, justifying the cost depends upon your personal circumstances and needs (is it the only lens that meets your photographic requirements and do you need to have an aperture of f2.8?), also the rugged build quality makes it heavier than cheaper lenses which may put some people off carrying around all day if on holiday.
For the same reason that I love my D3, I like the solid assurance and feel that you get with a pro lens - whatever your requirements, you just know you will get good results.
