Well worth it!
This is a wonderful product and at an excellent price (especially since I get a $50 rebate from my utility company!). I could have paid twice the price for more bells and whistles, but I did not need a thermostat that can analyze my usage, a remote sensor for a distant room, or a smart sensor to know when I am home. I bought this so I can control my AC and heater with my phone so I don't have to go downstairs and I can also control it when I am not at home. The only downside is that when I open my app, it often says that I am not connected, but that clears up within a minute or so. I've never had to wait long. I don't mind that, as I do not need 24/7 communication with my thermostat. The big numbers are easy to read with my set of old eyes. Install was smooth and easy. My only hitch was I did not see when to install the batteries, so I was not able to connect the thermostat to my wifi until I installed them. No biggie.
