Olympus or Panasonic? Panasonic
11 of 11 found this helpful While the comparable Olympus 7-14mm pro lens is absolutely incredible, this lens is almost as good with a lot more going for it. The build quality is not as tough (it is made with high density plastics with metal mounting) the lens weighs about half as much and is almost half as small. The pictures are just as sharp as the olympus (at some apertures it is even sharper) and is almost half the cost depending where you get it. If you need the olympus pro for personal reasons than obviously that is the go to. If you cannot determine which lens to get because the f/2.8 is not absolutely necessary then I would say your money will be better spent here.

Beautifully Sharp
2 of 2 found this helpful This lens makes you feel like your m4/3 camera somehow has a full frame sensor. It renders gorgeous bokeh and out of focus areas, the picture is ridiculously sharp (even when drastically cropped in) and it just feels good in the hand and on your camera. Bite the bullet and buy this lens if you are looking for a long range portrait lens, it will not disappoint.
