MX500 Refresh & Rebuild
1 of 1 found this helpful I've ordered two sets of these batteries now. Both sets came fully charged. I put all the batteries on my charger to ensure they were topped off before I installed them. Neither came with wiring harnesses but all that is required are some crimp connectors and the old wiring harness off the original batteries to complete the task of swapping them out.
The first set went into a Razor MX500 that needed no other work, just replacement batteries. Compared to an MX350 we have with 24v 12ah batteries, these 36v 15ah batteries definitely run longer.
Nine months later I found a second Razor MX500 that needed a rebuild and refresh. After stripping the bike down, rebuilding it and installing the fresh batteries it was up and running very well. It appears that the new set of batteries has a slightly longer run time than the first, by about 10 minutes. There could be some fade over time and some variation in rider style but both sets of batteries are run strong even after nearly a year.
Based on performance and cost I recommend these batteries over the standard 12ah replacements.

Performs as Claimed
I have had this module installed in our Power Wheels Jeep Hurricane for over a year. It has performed with no issues consistently. Before installation my kids would hit their faces on the windshield, especially the passenger. That doesn't happen any longer with the softer braking.
This is installed in a stock Hurricane with no other modifications other than rubber tires. I was also concerned that the harsh stopping would damage the drive gears when adding rubber tires. Again, this product has done it's job. I have had reliable use with no gear breakage due in part to installing this module when I switched to rubber tires.
Installation is in tight quarters. Be sure to plan ahead before splicing and connecting the module as there is little room for error.
