Flexible and rugged.
1 of 1 found this helpful The Comet RS-720 NMO is well made and very flexible, allowing vertical mounting from just about any angle. I mounted it just over the rear door of my truck cab on the vertical door lip, using the 2 shims that came with it. The mount can be reversed to fit with the handle facing out, away from the roof. Just remove the two pivot screws at the bottom and turn the upper section around. The outside of the door is protected by the heavy plastic on the underside of the mount. The ability to loosen the mount via the handle shown and swing the antenna down flat so I can park in a garage is wonderful. My NMO mount fits perfectly and is being used with the Tram 1180 dual band antenna. . I definitely recommed this mount for anyone who does not want a hole in their vehicle and is struggling with some odd mounting angles.
