Excellent Device
I bought the ipod touch mainly because I needed an upgraded amount of space, and wanted other features like WiFi access and full web access that my smart phone lacked.
Upon recieving mine, I opened the box, and promptly charged it, then began playing with it, loading it with music and videos from my computer, playing with youtube, all of which it seemed to do well, the internet was great and the multitouch made zooming in and out of pictures and web pages second nature. but the un-upgraded player was limited to only being a player.
I then discovered the ability to jailbreak the ipod touch. For those of you worried about your warranties, in june iTunes will open the Apple software store which will uncover the same abilities of a jailbroken iPod with none of the risk.
As I was saying there is a large community loads of software with anything from shopping list programs, to wifi finders, to games, and ebook readers, dictionaries, word processing software (unless you upgrade you dont even have access to make notes) and many themes to improve the appearance of your device. With the use of these programs my iPod Touch has secured itself in its place as an mp3 player and PDA keeping all of my important bits of information quick at hand.

Still working great after 3 years of solid use!
1 of 1 found this helpful I was asked to write this review after purchasing refurbished drives, I am using these in a home based FreeNas system. During the testing process before putting them in my system I noted they already had over 3 years of continuous power on time. I was still able to copy data to and from them at full listed speeds, and in a properly cooled environment with proper airflow they were able to maintain 35 degrees Celsius even when packed in an 8 drive array. These have currently operating for between 3 and 4 weeks in my server, it took a week from placing the first one to the last one in the server, and the daily SMART tests show these drives are working without errors. I see no reason to believe I cant get a few more years out of these before upgrading them for something larger

Good refresher to an old system
2 of 2 found this helpful This processor is 9 year old technology but I had a system I needed to pass off to a child who didnt have great processing requirements and I was able to upgrade a Pentium 4 3ghz single core processor with this one, and the performance increase is more then just adding a second core, more on die memory and faster frontside bus was night and day better then the processor I was previously using, and gave an old system a few more years of life.
I wont list the price as these things are old and various sellers are selling for various prices. if you have a socket 775 motherboard and need a machine to do websurfing and old 2012 and less gaming on, consider one of these its much cheaper then some of the new stuff out there.
