Kawasaki KL600 KLR250 650 KLX250 300 400 450 650 Dirt Bike Brake Master Cylinder

It works, its inexpensive, but its not great

Reservoir is much larger than the OEM on the KLX250. This causes it to take up much more space on the handlebar. Also, the reach between handlebar and lever is further than OEM. Apparently, the lever is custom to this cylinder so aftermarket adjustable levers are not available (see photo comparing OEM lever [silver] to provided lever [back]. Vacuum bled and it pulls tight very quickly, but the strength of pull required is much more than OEM to get the same breaking action. All in all, It works, its inexpensive, but its not great.

Good product for the price; quality fasteners would be better

Product itself is well made, heavy duty, and fits great. Looks really good on the bike too. Hardware / fasteners for handlebar ends is a bit strange as it needs a 12mm Allen key - not something most people have in their shop (OEM is 8mm? I had to purchase a 12mm). And I came close to stripping the central clamp bolts when trying to torque to spec. Better hardware would make the product better. Still, for the price, no real complaints.
