One of Walthers better kits.
It was a well designed and manufactured kit.The corrugated finish was realistic, and looked extra well when weathered.

Entertaining kit to assemble over several days of fun.
With 704 parts to assemble, it is fun for 5-6 days to assemble. The detailing of parts is very good.
However, on a slightly negative note,I will take this opportunity to comment on Kibri/Viessmann's packing of the kit. They need to put scrunched paper ,or a cardboard divider, on top of the kit inside the box. (Same as Faller does)Rough handling of packages during delivery does cause separation of small parts from the sprues, and this makes it tricky to indentify the parts against the assembly instructions.

Faller kit is very packed to resist the tribulations of transportation & postage.
For a start,Faller pack their kits very well to resist movement of all the sprues during transportation...so the modeller is not left wondering what little bit it what. All the parts fit together well without modification.The assembly instructions,however, seem to be for thje advanced modeller ,as the drawings take some thought of what goes where first. Overall, an excellent model in the finish.
