Almost but no cigar... Probably don't want to bother with this.
So, this has lots more information than the ancient one that came with the car, but it's simply not useful since the nav unit can't seem to process it reliably. Trip planning doesn't work - simply shows calculating forever. Even simple map display is 1) unreliable - often showing a "clock" icon and "reading" message and 2) ultimately after a couple of days reporting that there is no nav-dvd installed. The nav-dvd was of course in place...
Putting the old ancient nav dvd back in the unit restored it to modestly useful status (missing lots of detail, but at least no clock icons...).
Swing-and-a-miss! Should have method to "scope" the detail to make work with older nav units (as this is targeted specifically at old units).
