Perfect for my needs
I bought this product to set a lamp on behind my couch. It works perfectly! It's exactly the right height. It's very lightweight. Just what I needed!

Definitely helpful, but carry a map just in case
I bought the MapSource City Navigator NT South America Micro SD card for my Garmin 1490 GPS to take on a trip to Costa Rica. The card covers Central and South America. When we got the card, we didn't realize that the microSD card was inside the larger SD adapter, so we were trying to figure out how to put it in the GPS. Make sure to read the directions! Item 1 says to remove the microSD card inside of the adapter. The only problem we had was that the GPS unit took quite a while to figure out where we were when we first started using it in Costa Rica. I would suggest you turn on the GPS unit for a while before you have to use it so it can pick up the right satellite data. We drove around in circles in San Jose for about an hour before we finally got headed in the right direction. Some of the streets in Costa Rica aren't well marked, so that was another issue, but that wasn't really the fault of the GPS unit or the software. You might want to carry along a map or get one at the car rental place just to back up the Garmin info. I'm glad we had the Garmin unit along. It was definitely helpful, and other than the initial problem, it led us in the right direction to many attractions and places we wanted to see in Costa Rica.
