If you regret letting go of your old PS2, buy a used one!

If you are yearning to relieve playing those classic Playstation 2 games then you should get a PS2 Slim Console and get back up and running. Used games are readily available and cheap. Play all your old favorites like you did 15 years ago! Make sure the model you get has a functioning DVD reader. If not, you will need to use something like free MCBOOT to get your games on USB and run them from there. The PS2 slim is quieter and more compact than the older PS2 fat and generally more reliable than the older models.

Helped me to fix my direct drive washer that wouldn't spin
I have a direct drive washer (Inglis IP41000) that wasn't spinning and narrowed down the problem to a bad clutch band. I could tell it was the band as the clutch could be easily rotated using a single finger.
I cleaned the metal housing, installed the new band and it works great now. Only issue was that the instructions refer to the 2 different springs as blue and green, while, the springs themselves look like dark blue and light blue to me. So, I used the light blue where the green was specified.
These clutch bands only have the 3 pads. As best I can tell, all new clutch bands only come with 3 pads. The old bands used to use 6 which probably would lead to a longer life in heavy use.
Overall, extremely pleased with the quality and price of the item..

I have had great success using this to clean up small engine parts like carbs and spark plug
3 of 3 found this helpful I purchased this item to clean small engine parts such as carbs and spark plugs. I use a combination of water, vinegar and awesome cleaner from the dollar store. I tried this on a fouled spark plug that was black and badly carboned up. 30 minutes in the cleaner and it comes out looking good as new. I also used this to clean carb jets and it works wonders. I hope to use this to clean jewelry and metal watch bands too. Highly recommend this unit. Only issue I have encountered is that mine seems to always turn temperature of the liquid to about 50C. I can't seem to lower the temp. The warm mixture does make the cleaning solution much more effective.
