Very good results are possible
To get a good result with these leather covers you will need to get the correct glue. Most glues are contact adhesive and they don't give you much movement once the surfaces touch each other despite what they say on the tin. Have many practice runs to work out how you will do it. I found the best way was to glue just the stitching first as these have to be straight. You can then glue the rest in stages. Don't glue the whole thing and hope to do it in one go you will end up in a sticky mess. Make the areas on show the best so if theres a compromise it wont be on show.
Another problem can be with dashboard covers is that once you have covered it all the wooden panels are a very tight fit so expect some fettling.
End result -yes it does look good. They are expensive but with new stock not available then this is a good way of giving your car a facelift.
Anyone good with their hands and tons of patience can get good results just expect some blue language and to be covered in glue when you finish. Good tip is to buy some adhesive remover because you will get some over the leather.

Unreliable
First of all if you buy one of these from ebay beware. All of these come from USA Import duties will be another £36 on top of anything you pay for the item. The system is in two parts , a small monitor and also a phone app.
Placing of the sensors is easy they even supply rubber buffers to stop the sensors hitting the floor.
It is really designed for large propane tanks the smallest size listed being 20lbs. A standard uk size is 6 kg (13lbs) and even 2 kg for boats. To get round this you can enter a figure in inches as a custom size. I am not sure if that then relays this to the monitor or not as it made no difference when I changed it.
There is a low alarm which seems a great idea only when you a re driving and the tanks slosh around you can get false alarms.
I have not tested this enough to know how accurate it is but I have one tank that doesn't have much left in it and it displays empty sometimes and 11 % another
In theory its a great idea how well it works for accuracy of small tanks is debatable
