Old decals
To be fair, half were ok.
The other side did not adhere properly, and attempts to re-apply the missing bits only took some of the good bits off again.
Probably it is due to my clumsiness, but I have had good results from this brand before.
I can only conclude this sheet was a bit beyond it's 'best by' date.
Sometimes these old sheets come good , sometimes they don't: it's a bit of a gamble, really.

Disappointing
Decent attempt at a kit built tank car. Ladders, grabs, brake wheel and one footboard missing. Rubbish wheels and couplers.
A few hours work sorted it out, though, and it looks pretty decent in a train.
To be fair, it is not an easy kit: fragile plastic bits which fall off as you look at it.
I don't think I'll be buying another.

Gone, but still an icon
Nicely organised history of caboose development and usage. Great photos and lively text.
Perfect for the coffee table or the library.
