Perpetually worn
My husband, for whom I bought these thermal underwear, lives in them all year round -- he has several sets. And he's not complaining. I think that says it all.

Book in hand
I had a copy of this book ages ago. I thought I would read it again but could not locate that copy. I found it on ebay. It's a 2-in-1 book so was a true bargain at the price. I have reread it & found that I still enjoyed the book.

This book is an absolute must-read-must-share-must-keep.
This is Book 1 of Cassandra Clare's The Mortal Instruments series, the book that introduced me to the author. This work caught my attention because of its setting -- MANHATTAN. To me, it was another character, a major player. Manhattan is totally my city, the place I chose to live in when I left my Jewel Box life in my own country. The characters were very engaging, their dialogue entertaining -- like listening to my nephews & nieces argue, discuss, squabble. I'm looking forward to becoming reacquainted with them in subsequent books. I was all the characters, feeling their frustrations, heartaches & triumphs. This story was pure escapism, a perfect melding of reality & fantasy.
