Choosers of the Slain by John Ringo (2007)
Choosers of the Slain, third in the Ghost/Kildar series is a must read. If you enjoyed the first two, this, like all of his others keeps you interested from page 1. Not many books I can read in a day or two but this is one of them. Lots of action, high tech, revenge on the bad guys, zero tolerance for bureaucrats, great homebrew and scenery. Following this are two more excellent reads; Unto the Breach, and Deeper Blue, all story related. Collect the whole set!

Garmin 2610
This is a nice little GPS unit but outdated. Better to get a newer model that's fully supported. Above all be sure to get software (Waypoint Manager and City Navigator non-NT 9.0) with the unit else you'll have to spend big bucks for it. Also be sure the unit comes with mount and both AC adaptor and DC/speaker cables. One issue with the 2610 is that maps have to be downloaded from a PC or laptop, and the AC cable used for doing this doesn't have a speaker so no way to listen to the voice prompts. I was impressed by its ruggedness and apparent weatherproof design. I noticed that motorcycle adaptor kits (mount and cabling) are available.

Fish love tetracolor flakes
My assorted fish, mollies, wags, tetras and betta all really go for these colored flakes but are passe' about other top shelf brands. And it does naturally brighten their color and leaves little residue.
