disappointed
I realize Duckett's rods are above average and priced reasonable but his reels are very disappointing for the price. Tip: Stick to proven brands such as Shimano, Abu Garcia and even some Quantum reels. Let guys like me make the mistakes, then read our reviews. Want a good reel for less? Try some of the H2O Express reels. I've had better luck with them than I have with the Duckett 300Lrg!

Self leveling??
0 of 1 found this helpful Bought it for one reason, because it would "self level" and shoot a perfectly plumb cross hair on the wall. Well it doesn't self level at all no matter how close to level you set it up. Having to shoot it as level as possible then use a torpedo level to check it kinda kills the purpose, ya know...
