No sound
1 of 1 found this helpful I bought the sound card many years ago. Listened to great sound from it with no problems. Then decided to stop using it at that time and disconnected it and put it away for for a period of time. A couple of years later and using a different computer I decided to use it again. When I plugged the card in, the blue power light and the red mute light, stayed on and I can’t figure out how to take the mute light off.
I decided to buy another one and found it on eBay. I’m living in Canada and the card is in California. After paying $80 us plus tax and shipping,and a charge for crossing the border. All total in the end I payed $140 Canadian. Lol
Received it 3 weeks later and couldn’t wait to set it up again. When I plugged it in the same light came on. Lol
So now I’m thinking there is no problem with the sound card and the mute button will come off when the program is installed . So fingers crossed that is the problem.
Any suggestions would be gratefully appreciated.
I guess one good thing from it is that now I have lots of spare parts. Lol
