1 of 1 found this helpful It works great, and is easy to install, you can use 1 of 2 screws they give you, a Phillips or a Security Screw.... If you wanted to go use your old bolt, you need to drill out the threaded hole, and drill and tap the new part bigger... but it is not needed.
I suggest you use some grease om the right hand side of the unit where the rod needs to slide over, it makes the latch much easier to open. Also the plastic trim ring is easier to remove than the factory one, so it is a good idea to use a few dots of Panel Adhesive to bond to the truck.
