I'm not sure exactly what you'd use this screen for. It has noticeable lag and ghosting whenever you have items of motion on screen. It cannot be used for retro gaming or videos but only for terminal, text and other still images. The quality is good, solid and well made however the performance isn't. It also required you install and setup the LCD through GPIO ports which than disables the HDMI. Unless you need this, I wouldn't get it again.. Stick with HDMI LCD or TFT screens

Long range wifi

Bought a pair to test out long range wifi connection. Without getting too technical or fussy, I place one unit on the roof and pointed towards a clearing about 0.5km away. I drove to the clearing and roughly estimated where the other AP was. Connected immediately and gave me full internet speed. Quite surprised but very happy with the performance.
