Non WiFi computer can now print to WiFi connected printer.
My printer had a choice of either WiFi connectivity or USB patch cord hookup but not both. Since the laptops and cell phones were already set up for use with the printer, the cheapest and most logical way to set up the extra computer was by WiFi. Included software made setup on the computer easy. The printer software was then loaded. With a fresh mind, the actual linkup was a logical thought process. I tried the night before but was too tired to think logically. Range of dongle was not a factor since there is about 4 feet of space between the CPU and the printer.

What fails on a mixing valve and the results.
The original hot water valve failed by seizing in the open position. It would not shut off, causing the water to overflow. At least 70 gallons of water flooded the house before we could shut a valve at the water heater. Even after the water heater was shut off, water continued to flow but at a reduced rate. I opened a hot water valve at a bathtub to relieve the pressure. That stopped the water flow very quickly. As it turned out, the water cut off at the other end of the hoses failed also. My regular wholesaler wanted about $80 for this mixing valve. This was an easy replacement. Finding the part was easy as the hoses attach to it. I've had one other replacement similar to this and the gasket inside the solenoid valve sprang a leak, allowing rust to form inside the valve. That one refused to open. It was an older mixing valve and was screwed together so I could disassemble it. The plunger seized closed, where today's seized open. 50/50 chance of an overflow! Good idea for an overflow pan under the washing machine! Hope this helps someone.

Direct replacement for older model of same brand.
This disposal is replacing one of the same brand and style that had a chemical reaction between the aluminum upper housing and the dishwasher chemicals. A hole corroded and developed a 3/8" hole which flooded the cabinet floor as the dishwasher discharged it's load of water. It lasted over ten years. The new one has a plastic upper housing which should not corrode. The new one has interchangeable hookup locations with the older model. The noise level is comparable to the older model. The stainless sink help amplify the noise level. The unit ran quietly when tested before being installed. The lower motor bushing was out of alignment due to a shipping injury, causing the motor to hum. Once corrected, everything was fine. Before being corrected, rotor was making a metal on metal rubbing sound when spun manually. Retired electrical tech teacher.
