Built like a tank
Look, dholaks in general have a problem; there's pretty much no way to know you're dealing with thick, quality skins and heavy ropes that won't frequently go out of tune at any price point. Whether a dholak is cheap or expensive, unless you physically try the drum you're buying, there's almost never any way of knowing what you're gonna get.
So, here's the heads-up: these dholaks are built heavy, and that's pretty much all a viable professional dholak needs to be.

Useful for extra textures
Sometimes you wanna kit a riveted cymbal and a mounted djembe with a brush without puncturing a goatskin. If you're anything like me, use these for that.
