Someways funnier than the first viewing
Saw this movie years ago and found it funny in a wry sort of way. Bought this copy as a gift for a Canadian friend. After seeing it for the 2nd time I was struck how some of the gags and characterizations had taken on (I'm sure not intended by the original Producer/Director) new and more poignant meaning. The experience of 8 years of the Obama administration had taken some of the exaggerated characterizations of the US political elite out of the realm of fantasy and moved them into factual history.
Still a cute and cleaver comedy worth seeing. A bit too broad and slap stick toward the end, but worth a laugh.
