Not as long as I thought
The coil was very tight, you plug in one end and to extend it you have to pull hard and the plug pulls out. It quotes 1.5 m but is only good for less than 1 m.

Works fine.
Old one was wired different but after trial and error it worked great as I did not want to have to run all new cables

Thermostat
My under floor heating system was letting really hot water into the circuit instead of the normal 40/45C. In fact it damaged the floor covering on the kitchen floor with excess heat. So I changed the mixing valve which should control this and it was no better so I used this to sense the water temperature and open and close the motorised valve.
It worked great and I can read the temperature anytime I want to, which I hope will be never.
