One of the best sophomore productions ever
Why buy this CD? If you are a fan of Three Dog Night or just like that late 60's rock sound, you will like what you find here. If you are a collector, there are several songs here that you won't find on later compilation CD's. One of my faves is Floyd Sneed's driving drum solo, "King Solomon's Mines." Another choice cut that is overlooked later is "Dreaming Isn't Good for You." Of course, there are well known songs, such as "Lady Samantha," "Feeling Alright," and the party anthem, "Celebrate." My favorite cut on the disc is Cory Well's solo, "A Change Is Gonna Come;" few artists can match his soulful rendition of a Sam Cooke classic. Listening to this CD will remind you of the reason why you first became a TDN fan--the raw talent, the perfect blend of vocal ranges, and the sound that can only be owned by this group.

    Christmas Tree for cat owners
Yeah. I know. It's not your typical usage for a tiered shelf, but when you have 10 cats who like to climb traditional Christmas trees, you have to be inventive. The tree I had? It lasted 3 days with all the needles on the floor. So I thought, hmmm, this is inexpensive enough to try. With garland and lights, and some plush kitties to take up the shelf space, and a star on top, it was stable, strong enough to withstand any curious cat and now, it's in my closet until next year's holiday. Make no mistake... for the price, this is not fine furniture, but for the cost, it could be the beginning of your own special project.
