Have collected these type for over 59yrs made in England
The originals of this type schackle handcuff were created by Hiat, an old English company that
still exist. Most of my leg irons and handcuffs (over 60yrs old) are all marked with the manufacturer -Hiat. When you see the early slave traders, they used these type of restrictions.
I have a pair of leg-shackles that are attached to a 20pd. iron ball. These types have been around for many,many years. They are now and have been copied.
