An unusual Play
Mr. Foote's Other Leg by the famous actor and writer Ian Kelly is a trip into the past, a fascinating account of what England and especially the Theater was like in the 18th century, interweaving real living people with some fiction.
Is is a raucous and bawdy account of the lives of the actor's of the time, and their customs and the law that interferes with their likes and preferences. A small book well worth reading!

Another success for Posie Graeme-Even
The novel takes you into 18th century London so vividly that you believe you are really there. The trials and fortunes of the Dressmaker are heart-rendering and exciting, the book is hard to put down, as are her other novels, especially The Anne Trilogy.
