Not with deep column of standing drainwater

Did not clear blocked rainwater downpipe. Product remained in pipe above column of water and complicated eventual clearance of pipe which involved cutting into pipe to allow insertion of hogh pressure hose. Product flooded out as a jet. Fortunately I had warned operator that I had used product. On product label it said product would settle through standing water down to blockage, clearly only with a shallow column of drainwater. would not recommend product in above situation.
