Time and money saver!
There is an ant repelling dry disc inside the plastic cap which the hummingbirds cannot get to. It has saved me hours of work and tons of time and money keeping the ants out of the feeders and preventing me from having to wash and refill the feeders over and over. They don't even try. It isn't smelly and the hummingbirds are not at all bothered by it. My last set lasted over two years and I only replaced just in case. Plus there is no spraying poison around the feeders with these above the feeders which is good.
