Right tool for the job
1 of 1 found this helpful This works perfectly for Harley Davidson motorcycle fork caps that are 1-3/8". Yes, you can use an open ended wrench instead, but it's much easier with this tool. The low profile also makes it easy to get a torque wrench between the fork cap and the handlebars. Additionally, I found the tool super helpful in reinstalling the fork cap plug onto the fork tube. It helps because it lets you press down firmly and actually compress the coil enough to go inside the tube. I did this without a vise, and wouldn't have been able to do it without this tool.
But it once and do it right!

Great oil filter wrench
Fast shipping -and a great product. This works flawlessly on Harley 14 sided oil filters. I've tried other oil filter wrenches (like the three pronged claws) that don't work nearly as well. The 5/8" drain plug tool is a nice touch.

Tool broke the very first time I used it. Buy it nice or buy it twice.
The tool broke right away. Not a quality product. Also, the springbars seem flimsy.
