multi function shovel
Of all the "multi use" shovels I've seen or used, this one is at the top of My list. Although not long, the alloy used is more than sturdy enough to handle most tasks with ease. Lite weight and compact if Your looking for something that won't let You down, this is what You need. Ordered one for all of My Children who spend a lot of time outdoors.

Renegade Spear
As with all Knife type and Spears , weight is the primary factor. I found that this particular one is far superior than those I've tried in the past. I re-angled the blade portion to further sharpen and hold it's edge. Attached to a straight branch the weight and balance is great, penetrates 3/4" plywood easily and would reek havoc on hide and flesh. If You're looking for a spear, I highly recommend this one.
