Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance II (Microsoft Xbox, 2004) CIB Complete
Dec 20, 2017
Balder's Gate 2 is a trip down Memory Lane for sure.
First of all, this is a game from 2004. It is the successor to the original Balder's Gate game from two years earlier. BG 2 - Dark Alliance is an improvement in several ways. The visual graphic concepts have greatly improved from the original. Lots more detail, and character movement is faster and more precise. Also improved, is the AI (Artificial Intelligence) of the enemies you confront. You will have to create strategies and tactics to succeed in this game. No longer, can you make real progress by doing just a smash and bash attack. If you have a bit of patience and enjoy a good RPG, then this is a game for you. Just don't expect any Skyrim type of production values. This was a game for original Xbox and PlayStation 2 consoles. It was good when you consider it was made about 14 years ago!

Eternal Sonata (Microsoft Xbox 360, 2007)
Jul 05, 2017
Classic Anime style RPG that delivers!
This is an older title that was first released in 2007. Despite its age, it is very entertaining and engaging for the player. I have a teenage daughter who inherited her brother's Xbox 360 when he bought into the Xbox One. She likes RPG games very much, so I figured that Eternal Sonata would be a great choice. This game features female characters, and the game has a girl power attitude that makes it perfect for female gamers. My daughter has been very happy with this game. I Highly recommend it!

House of Lords delivers the goods on the fantastic album: "Live In The UK"
I have been a fan of House of Lords since the release of their first album many years ago. They have always been masters of balancing metal and melody to create a music that is both energetic and intelligent. I have never had the opportunity to see House of Lords perform live, so when I saw "Live In The UK" on e-bay, I knew that I had to buy this album. Now that I have had the time to play the album through to the end a few times, I have to say that I am very pleased. The sound quality of this live material is very good. The songs are a good balance of older fan favorites and newer tracks from more recent years. If you have ever enjoyed other House of Lords albums, then you will surely want to pick up this great album of live music. Well worth the price of admission.
