Very pleased!
Over the years, I winged cooking Indian food using curry powder with no cookbook. My family didn't care for it. Little did I know there is more to Indian cooking than using curry powder alone.
Now, I am older and wiser and mindful of my diet. I decided to try Indian Cooking this past December seriously because I believe that their food is tasty, healthy and satisfying. Many people have the impression that Indian Food = HOT! It doesn't have to be - with a good cookbook - you can adjust the heat and still have flavor. I checked out many Indian recipe books and decided I wanted a complete recipe book that would cover a wide range of dishes. That's where "Complete Book of Indian Cooking" by Sunetta Vaswani won out. She really did her homework. After reading the book from front to back, I not only was enthralled with the recipes, but I got quite a education about the regions of India. I wrote down every spice I would need to make her recipes and ordered online. Must to my surprise, I found out that the quality food supermarkets locally have most of the ingredients. I have tried 8 recipes so far and my husband, boss and I enjoyed every one of them-hands down. I also bought her Easy Indian Cooking book and have used that too and enjoy it. I am eating many more vegetables now because they taste so much better than the traditional American way of preparing them. I look and feel better and give Indian cuisine the credit. Many thanks to the author of this book!

Sad to see Andy and the Series finished
1 of 1 found this helpful I watched all the Seasons and loved them. This one fell short on it being the FINALE. Perhaps they filmed it that way in case Andy changed his mind.
